The purpose of the club.

The Belgian Shepherd Dog Club of Greece (Κ.Ο.ΒΕ.Π.Ε.) is the official club of the breed recognized by the Hellenic Kennel Club (ΚΟΕ) and the World Belgian Shepherd Federation (FMBB). It was founded in 2016 by decision of the Corinth District Court, with the aim of promoting the breed's basic characteristics and fostering the development, improvement, and dissemination of the Belgian Shepherd breed in Greece.
The first assembly of the Club took place on 12/6/2016 with the presence of the 34 founding members and the election of the first Board of Directors.
Since then, the club has organized numerous events, competitions, seminars, examinations, and exhibitions, with the culmination being the World Championship of Belgian Shepherds held for the first time in Greece (Karpenissi 2022), receiving high praise from all participants for its high-level organization and excellence.
The World Championship of Belgian Shepherds Karpenissi 2022 highlighted Greece as a significant and reliable entity in the global canine community and overall raised the bar for the level of canine activities in our country.
The goal of the club is to continue maintaining a high level of its activities, while also promoting all dog sports and the widespread use of Belgian Shepherds in the working field, in order to highlight and showcase all the unique characteristics of the breed, their adaptability, and performance in all areas.
